• Current license as a LPN in the state of Louisiana.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates respect for patients and families.
• Maintains and protects confidentiality regardingall aspects of patient care
• Applies the nursing process to each patient andimplements nursing actions
• Identifies patient and family education needsand in collaboration with other disciplines initiates’ education needsaccording to the age of the patient.
• Participates in planning of patient’s dischargeneeds and readiness for discharge.
• Participates in departmental and hospitalimprovement plan
